Alcuin Capital Partners is pleased to announce that it has completed a recapitalisation of BHID Group, the leading high-end Home Interiors group comprising Tom Howley, Neville Johnson and London Door Company.

After first investing in Neville Johnson in 2014, together with the management team led by Nigel Pailing, Alcuin has led the growth of the business through the development and roll-out of the highly successful Tom Howley kitchens brand, the acquisition of the London Door Company and the continued expansion of Neville Johnson.

Alcuin led the recapitalisation of the business in April 2024 to buy out a number of retired shareholders and also provide capital to continue to develop the business and fund future acquisitions. As part of a wider recapitalisation of the Third Alcuin Fund, this led to an exit for Limited Partners in the Third Alcuin Fund at a 4.5x ROC.

Together with Alcuin, BHID Group will now continue to build on its market leading position in high end, bespoke Home Interiors over the coming years.
